About Me

I am a junior majoring in mechanical engineering at Dartmouth College. I have been passionate about tinkering and building for as long as I can remember. While I value the technical craft, I am motivated by the people and the environment central to the issue. I believe that the most novel solutions come more from how a problem is approached rather than the mechanics of the solution. I have pursued this through my courses, studying a wide range of disciplines from anthropology and theatre to geography and film. I am energized and passionate about working on a variety of issues, from designing a tool to help beekeepers protect their colonies, to working rail-side on train works planning in Ireland, to co-authoring an infrastructure study commissioned by the mayor of a Slovakian town. I want to make a positive impact in the world and I see engineering as my way to do so.
